Mangala Nidhi

What is Mangala Nidhi?

Are you celebrating a special day with your loved one(s)? Let’s celebrate together with Sewa’s Mangala Nidhi!

“GIVING IS NOT JUST ABOUT MAKING A DONATION, IT’S ABOUT MAKING A DIFFERENCE.”

“Mangala Nidhi” translates to “auspicious fund” in Sanskrit.

In our Bharatiya culture, 10% of our monthly income would go toward the welfare of society, which has been followed since ancient times. Over the years, as we became busier, this has slowly faded away. But many generous souls still donate a part of their income to benefit the underprivileged and the community.

In this regard, Sewa International is relaunching the “Mangala Nidhi” program throughout Australia.

Mangala Nidhi is a meaningful way of sharing our life’s joyous and auspicious moments with society. We invite you to participate in “Mangala Nidhi” – donate money during family functions such as:

  • Birthdays
  • Anniversaries
  • Weddings
  • Housewarming ceremonies
  • Baby showers
  • Special poojas
  • Farewell parties
  • Retirement parties
  • Bereavements and
  • Any other occasions

Best way to make a difference in the lives of other.

These celebrations are enhanced by the blessings from the underprivileged whom you uplift through your noble deeds. This is a great way to elevate our souls and feel a sense of satisfaction and fulfilment.

Encouraging our children to donate on their special days can promote a sense of community and empathy. It teaches them the value of generosity and instils in them a deeper understanding of the world around them. By donating on their special days, children can experience firsthand the joy of giving back and making a positive impact on others’ lives. This practice cultivates a sense of responsibility and empathy, fostering their development into compassionate and socially aware individuals.

All donations towards “Mangala Nidhi” will empower Underprivileged Children and Women Empowerment in developing countries.
